Job Description

We are looking for an Export Administrator to manage all export sales orders from start to finish and support our sales team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process all export customer transactions accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Handle all export documentation, invoices and inspections.
  • Respond to customer queries about order status, back‑orders and general inquiries following company policies.
  • Support the sales team in day‑to‑day activities.
  • Build positive relationships with export customers and provide professional customer service.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure correct dispatch of export orders.
  • Use initiative to resolve customer queries promptly.
  • Promote total customer satisfaction internally and externally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Key Competencies

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Export, logistics or related qualification (highly beneficial).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of the export cycle, cross‑trade and documentation.
  • Knowledge of South African and foreign customs acts.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills (telephone and email).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
