Boxer Superstores is looking for hardworking and reliable team members to join our Cape Town Distribution Centre in Airport Industria. We need staff for a variety of roles such as Receiving, Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Forklift Operation, Reach Truck Operation, Auditing, and Stock Combining. These positions are available throughout the year and offer a supportive environment for career growth.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 0–2 years of warehouse experience (role will match experience)
- Basic Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Teamwork orientation
- Deadline‑driven mindset
- Basic maths skills
- Forklift or Reach Truck licence (required for driver roles)
- Availability for day shifts, night shifts, weekends (including Sundays) and public holidays
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately pick stock for stores using picking slips.
- Track stock quantities in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, move and stack pallets.
- Operate a reach truck and pack pallets on racks.
- Combine stock on pallets and shrink‑wrap them before delivery to stores.
- Return overstocked, damaged, or short‑dated stock to the DC promptly.
- Count stock, check for damages, and verify expiry dates before dispatch.
