Job Description

Motus Multifranchise Menlyn is looking for an Apprentice Level 1 to join our service team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Technician and will be part of a structured apprenticeship programme lasting up to three years.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle repairs under the supervision of a Technician.
• Remove and replace parts and units on vehicles.
• Jack up vehicles and secure them on trestles.
• Lubricate and change oils according to the service manual.
• Remove and fit wheels, air filters, oil filters, and batteries.
• Clean parts and maintain a tidy work area.
• Attend technical courses as required.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Preference for candidates with a Technical Matric.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
• Clear criminal record.
• Basic technical skills are a plus.
• Good customer orientation and teamwork skills.
