Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Feeder Truck Driver to join our team in Polokwane. The driver will report to the Despatch Controller and be responsible for timely delivery of bulk or bagged products to assigned customers, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products promptly and safely to customers.
- Check loads for accuracy and assist with offloading when required.
- Issue invoices for deliveries.
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain it at agreed standards.
- Inspect tyres, lights, trailer couplings, and maintain oil and water levels.
- Keep the truck clean and in good working order.
- Report any defects or breakdowns immediately.
- Follow safety inspection stops and good driving practices.
- Handle initial fault finding and vehicle breakdowns, including tyre changes.
- Maintain a zero‑speed/traffic fine record on your cell phone.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) – non‑negotiable.
- Valid driver’s licence with PDP (Code 14).
- Minimum of 2 years driving a 3‑axle truck.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Driver Training Certification.
- Experience with Code 10/14 trucks.
