Job Purpose
The Repair Administrator will manage and coordinate the execution of repair contracts, shipping, sales, and vendor selection. The role ensures that all repair activities are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain repair, shipping, contract, and sales data in the access database.
- Create and submit repair, sales, and purchase orders for stationary, office furniture, and other items.
- Obtain quotes for repair and shipping of materials and equipment.
- Provide quotations for selling non‑tender board material.
- Verify vendor credit applications through Tech Finance.
- Process cash, credit card, and cheque payments for sales and obtain remittance.
- Coordinate warranties between vendors and the SAAT warranty department.
- Resolve issues with returned materials.
- Expedite all outstanding repair, sales, and purchase orders.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies regarding repair type, cost, and strip‑down reports.
- Perform general administrative duties and maintain an organized filing system.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Code B driver’s licence.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, AMOS).
- Minimum 2 years of aviation experience.
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with SAAT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (SACAA, EASA, FAA).
- Proficient in AMOS, Impact, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong cost control and industry knowledge.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
