Job Description:
- Provide safe and timely collection and delivery of goods and shuttle services.
- Deliver and collect specimens from outlying laboratories, ensuring they reach the correct destination on time and in good condition.
- Sign proof of delivery and maintain accurate records.
- Scan specimens and results using the Courier Management Programme for tracking.
- Maintain daily safety, report faults, and keep Lancet assets (vehicles, petrol cards, uniforms, equipment) in good condition.
- Use protective wear (specimen bags, gloves, eye protection) to ensure safety and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Complete incident and accident reports and submit them to management for insurance claims and repairs.
- Keep Lancet vehicles clean and report any hazardous material spills to management.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification preferred.
- Appropriate driver’s licence.
- Minimum 10 years of courier experience, or Grade 10 with 2‑3 years of relevant experience.
