Job Purpose

To execute projects and operations efficiently, meeting time, cost, resource, and quality targets while adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993. This role focuses on non‑energised electrical distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Use resources optimally to achieve cost‑effectiveness and project deadlines.
• Construct and maintain the electrical network to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Adhere to safety regulations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Rotate between operational teams to develop multi‑skilling.

Requirements

• Grade 10 education.
• Completion of Linesman and Cable courses.
• At least six months of relevant experience in local authority electrical networks.
• Valid Code C1 driving licence with a valid PrDP.
• Physical fitness and health suitable for continuous physical work.
• Willingness to work shifts, standby, and overtime.
• Ability to relocate within Tshwane as required.
• Must undergo a criminal record check and provide fingerprints to the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost.
