About the Position
The City of Tshwane is looking for a reliable Lorry Driver to support our electricity distribution and streetlight operations. You will transport staff, tools, materials and equipment to various operational sites, helping to keep our services running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from your supervisor.
- Move tools, materials and equipment to operational sites.
- Keep operations running on site at all times.
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993.
- Work on a rotational basis with different operational teams.
- Use resources efficiently to save time and money.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 qualification.
- At least six months of relevant driving experience.
- Valid Code EC or C1 driving licence with a valid PrDP.
- Good physical fitness and overall health.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime and standby duties.
- Willingness to be posted anywhere in Tshwane as required.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check, including fingerprinting at your own cost.
