Job Description

Hyundai Automotive South Africa is looking for an Automotive Warranty Administrator to support our warranty team. The role involves processing warranty claims accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with OEM standards, and maintaining clear communication with dealers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warranty Processing & Compliance
    • Capture, process, and administer warranty claims in OEM systems.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and correctly costed.
    • Vet source documents to validate claim data before dealer payment.
    • Maintain the warranty grid, WIP, and age analysis.
    • Track first‑approval rates and follow up on denied or rejected claims.
    • Manage parts destruction and warranty storerooms per OEM standards.
    • Identify operational issues, apply solutions, and raise unresolved matters.
    • Support internal and external warranty audits and maintain audit readiness.
    • Provide technical and administrative support to dealers/importers on claim handling.
  • Financial Control
    • Record warranty-related financial transactions accurately.
    • Maintain documentation to support clean audits and prevent non‑payments.
    • Verify financial entries and monitor claims to completion.
    • Report inefficiencies affecting costing or payments and support corrective actions.
    • Improve turnaround times and reduce delays.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Deliver customer‑focused service that meets or exceeds expectations.
    • Communicate professionally with dealers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
    • Proactively inform about delays, disruptions, or claim issues.

Minimum Qualifications
