Job Description
ARC is looking for two Farm Assistants to support farm operations under the guidance of farm managers and researchers. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing farm tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Using and maintaining tools and equipment provided.
- Following occupational health and safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective clothing.
- Assisting with manual tasks and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Grade 10 education.
- At least 2 years of experience or exposure to fruit farming.
- Basic knowledge of agricultural practices.
- Familiarity with manual operation of farm equipment and machinery.
- Experience in construction (plumbing, carpentry, building) is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.

Other Information
