About the Job
Capitec Bank is looking for energetic, self‑motivated people who love helping customers. This learnership will give you hands‑on experience in a bank branch and help you build a career in banking.
Purpose
Welcome clients, manage the branch queue, provide excellent customer service, and assist with ATM and remote transactions. You will learn the skills needed for service consulting.
Experience
- Minimum: No prior experience required. You must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate.
- Ideal: Some customer‑service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 National Certificate or equivalent vocational qualification.
Knowledge
- Basic calculations.
- How to engage with people.
- Clear understanding of your own aspirations and a desire to learn.
- Ideal: Knowledge of bank branch operations and Capitec Bank products.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
- Interpersonal and relationship‑management skills.
