Job Purpose
The Petrol Pump Attendant will be responsible for issuing fuel at the designated posts to support the City of Tshwane’s fleet. The role ensures efficient and effective fuel provisioning for all city components.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive fuel deliveries and manage inventory.
- Refuel buses and other city vehicles.
- Record fuel dispensed accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Clean oil spillages using sawdust.
- Pick up litter and empty waste containers.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements
- Basic literacy – able to read and write.
- Previous experience in fuel attendance is an advantage.
- Physical fitness and good health with no back problems.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
- Must undergo a criminal record check and provide fingerprints to the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost.
