About the Role

The Tax Administrator will prepare, submit, and coordinate all tax documentation to ensure the Group meets its tax obligations. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional who can work independently and under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare provisional tax calculations and returns.
  • Obtain sign‑off from the Group Financial Accountant and arrange payment instructions.
  • Coordinate payment of tax and ensure proof of payment is obtained on the due date.
  • Submit, stamp, and pay all other tax returns (e.g., dividends tax, import duty, VAT) on time.
  • Obtain tax clearance certificates for all countries as required.
  • Calculate withholding tax payments in line with local legislation.
  • Coordinate review of withholding taxes according to the prescribed timetable.
  • Maintain good relationships with tax authorities and resolve queries within agreed timeframes.
  • Keep tax status tables up to date and reconcile with revenue authorities.
  • Apply new tax rates and treatments promptly and inform relevant departments.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc tax projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum NQF 7 qualification in finance or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Deadline‑driven and dynamic.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work independently.
