About the Role
Hollywoodbets is looking for a Promotional Driver to join our Purple Team in Johannesburg. As a Promotional Driver, you will operate our promotional bus, engage with customers at events, and help drive our brand’s success across South Africa and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate the Hollywoodbets promotional bus.
- Engage with customers at events and facilitate promotional activities.
- Work closely with Mobile and Retail Managers to meet promotional targets.
- Plan promotional campaigns and road shows with Team Leaders and Area Managers.
- Identify customer needs and develop relevant promotional strategies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Maintain the vehicle and all equipment (screens, PlayStation, sound, branding, etc.).
- Report any vehicle issues immediately and complete trip sheets.
- Conduct pre‑on‑route and post‑trip roadworthy inspections.
- Ensure the vehicle is safe, clean, and only operated on authorized routes.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Matric (high school diploma).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Post‑matric qualification (preferred).
- Proven experience as a promoter.
- Track record of exceeding quotas.
- Ability to understand customer needs and handle diverse personalities.
