Role Summary

We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver 1T to join our Triton Express team in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of cargo while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer service.

Job Details

  • Qualification: Matric (Grade 12)

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute and collect client cargo efficiently.
  • Assist with the manual loading and offloading of cargo from the vehicle.
  • Collect and accurately complete daily delivery and collection paperwork.
  • Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
  • Report any vehicle faults immediately.
  • Ensure all client cargo is handled with care during transit and handling.
  • Verify that all delivery and collection addresses are correct.
  • Maintain constant communication with the depot.
  • Strictly follow authorized routes and schedules.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).
  • 1–2 years of professional driving experience is preferred.
  • A valid and unendorsed driver’s license.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the East London area.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good English communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • The ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required to meet client needs.
