Job Title: Process Control Assistant – Water Purification (Day Shift)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Process Control Assistant to support our Water Purification team. In this role, you will assist the Supervisor with manual operations, facility maintenance, and system monitoring to ensure the continuous supply of high-quality water.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor in isolating water purification systems by manually opening and closing valves and mounting drop gates.
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping at various locations, including the Poly Plant, Silica Plant, chlorine rooms, and staff facilities.
- Monitor and operate sump pumps to prevent flooding in the water recovery and upwash plants.
- Help with filter house maintenance and tank cleaning when required.
- Identify and report any mechanical defects or issues to the Supervisor immediately.
- Ensure all work is conducted according to safety standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- A basic understanding of the water treatment process.
- Prior safety training.
