About the Role

First National Bank (FNB) is looking for a dedicated Admin Broker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support and high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. Your primary focus will be managing policy administration, including renewals and endorsements, while ensuring all customer needs are met within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by providing proactive and innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Business Growth: Help achieve profit growth and manage costs effectively within the approved budget.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, project managers, and senior staff.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage existing client accounts and identify new business opportunities through lead generation.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve all customer questions and issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of products, pricing, and application procedures to meet sales targets.
  • Claims & Administration: Assist with insurance claim settlements and ensure all administrative records are accurate and up to date.
  • Compliance: Follow all legislative and audit requirements to ensure the business remains compliant.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in both Commercial and Personal Lines of insurance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid experience in Short-term insurance.
  • Certifications: A valid Regulatory Examination (RE) Certificate.
  • Compliance Documents: A DOFA statement (dated within the last 3 months) and copies of all completed qualifications.
  • Continuous Development: Certificates for CPD hours completed over the last three cycles (2022 to 2024).
  • Training: Evidence of product-specific training.
  • Credit Check: A clear credit record is required in accordance with the National Credit Act (NCA).
