Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Grade 9 to Grade 12 (AET Level 4).
• Experience: At least six months of relevant cleaning experience.
• Skills: Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work well with others.
• Personal Attributes: Honest, reliable, and physically fit to handle the demands of the position.
• Advantage: Previous experience or knowledge of working in a Pharmacy setting is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your daily duties will include:

• Cleaning all assigned areas, including floors, walls, desks, and rooms.
• Dusting furniture and washing shelves.
• Emptying waste bins regularly.
• Defrosting and cleaning refrigerators.
• Following a set cleaning schedule and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintaining a cleaning log sheet to track completed tasks.
• Reporting any broken equipment to your supervisor.
• Requesting cleaning materials and supplies when stock is low.
• Performing any other duties as requested by management.
