Job Opportunity: Voter Education Field Workers (KZN Ward 17)
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is an independent organization established by the Constitution to manage national, provincial, and municipal elections. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Field Workers for the Ward 17 by-election in KwaZulu-Natal.
Role Overview
As a Voter Education Field Worker, you will play a vital role in strengthening democracy. You will be responsible for assisting with voter registration and supporting various Electoral Commission programs at the voting station level.
Job Specifications

- Job Type: Contract
- Location: KwaZulu-Natal (Ward 17)
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
- Primary Fields: Education, Teaching, or NGO/Non-Profit work
Key Responsibilities
- Help coordinate and promote voter registration activities.
- Educate the public on electoral processes to strengthen local democracy.
- Provide support for Commission programs and initiatives at designated voting stations.
