Requirements
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual who meets the following criteria:
- Education: AET Level 4 (Grade 9) up to Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience: A minimum of six months of appropriate cleaning experience.
- Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, honesty, and the ability to solve problems.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job and work well both in a team and independently.
- Flexibility: Ability to rotate shifts or work areas as required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Duties include:
- Cleaning interior and exterior areas, including offices, consulting rooms, bathrooms, showers, and waiting areas.
- Dusting, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
- Performing high dusting of walls and surfaces.
- Washing windows, stairs, lifts, fire escapes, and cupboards.
- Cleaning medical equipment, microwaves, and fridges.
- Assisting with laundry duties and cleaning up spillages.
- Decontaminating and disinfecting surfaces and work areas.
- Removing general and medical waste according to health and safety guidelines.
- Serving meals and washing kitchen utensils.
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
