Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Worker to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining our transport operations and ensuring our facilities remain professional and efficient. We encourage current and former EPWP participants, as well as COVID-19 contract officials, to apply.

Requirements

• Education: AET Level 4, Standard 7, Grade 9, or Grade 12. Applicants with Grade 12 should have at least six months of relevant experience.
• Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required. A Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is an added advantage.
• Language Skills: The ability to communicate effectively in at least two languages.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a customer-focused attitude, and good interpersonal relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean government vehicles and maintain the parking area.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of furniture and stock.
• Deliver and collect vehicles from workshops for regular servicing.
• Assist with driving duties and transport office tasks as requested.
• Be available for standby duties, including working after hours and on weekends when necessary.
• Perform any other duties delegated by the supervisor to support the team.
