Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of Grade 8 or 9 (NQF level 1 or 2) or an ABET level 2 certificate from a recognized educational institution.
- Previous training certificates in cleaning services will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and professional environment. Duties include:
- Cleaning offices, corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.
- Maintaining cleanliness in general kitchens and restrooms.
- Cleaning walls, windows, and doors.
- Emptying and sanitizing dustbins.
- Replacing essential supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and air refreshers.
- Safekeeping and maintaining cleaning equipment and materials.
- Requesting cleaning supplies when stock is low.
- Reporting any broken cleaning machinery or equipment to the supervisor.
