The VKB Group is a progressive agricultural enterprise with a history spanning over 100 years. We focus on providing innovative solutions for the agricultural industry. We are currently looking for a dedicated Admin Assistant to join our Mechanization branch in Ermelo.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the internal administration of the branch. This role requires a team player who is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Administration: Manage petty cash, perform daily reconciliations, and handle banking tasks.
  • Stock & Supply Chain: Process Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs), monitor stock deviations, participate in stock takes, and receive supplier deliveries.
  • Claims & Documentation: Register and process claims, and maintain workshop safety documentation.
  • Workshop Support: Manage job cards and provide general administrative support to the workshop team.
  • Customer Service: Liaise with internal departments and external customers to ensure high-quality service.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF4 qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday).
  • Previous experience in a workshop or spare parts environment is highly recommended.
