About the Opportunity

The VKB Group is a leading agricultural enterprise with a 100-year history of providing innovative solutions to the farming community. We are looking for a dedicated Admin professional to join our VKB Brokers team. This role focuses on the underwriting and claims administration for Personal, Commercial, and Agricultural short-term insurance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensure all insurance instructions are processed and approved by the end of each month.
  • Review and monitor information received regarding client instructions.
  • Manage the renewal process to ensure all policies are updated correctly and on time.
  • Oversee administrative functions using the CIMS system.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers, insurers, and colleagues.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints within the required legal frameworks.
  • Complete all required product training and maintain yearly CPD points.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Grade 12 certificate (Matric).
  • A Short-Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification or a Higher Certificate at NQF Level 5.
  • Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE5) certification.
  • Strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry is highly recommended.
