Role Overview
The Senior SAP FI/CO Specialist plays a key role in supporting our Finance department. You will optimize SAP systems to meet business goals, providing hands-on support for modules including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Working onsite, you will lead the finance team in using SAP effectively and ensure the system evolves with our business needs.
We are looking for an expert with deep knowledge of both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA who understands end-to-end financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- System Support: Provide expert-level technical support for SAP FI/CO, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and assistance with S/4HANA upgrades.
- Business Analysis: Gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
- Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, testing, and rollout of new SAP functionalities and enhancements.
- Training & Documentation: Create user manuals and training materials, and conduct sessions to empower staff to use the system effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and propose innovative system-driven solutions.
- Project Management: Manage project scopes, stakeholder expectations, and deadlines using international best practices.
- Data Management: Handle master data uploads using LSMW and manage authorization controls.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Information Technology. A Post-graduate qualification in IT is a strong advantage.
- Certification: SAP Certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strategy: Proven experience in strategy development and implementation.
- Management: Substantial background in Project or Programme Management.
