Role Purpose
The purpose of this position is to provide general assistance and support on-site to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with site teams to help achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform daily inspections in assigned areas and report any hazards or issues.
- Assist with pipeline and valve operations under supervision.
- Help solve operational challenges and report deviations to supervisors.
- Complete general site tasks as assigned to support the project.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through regular housekeeping.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for every task.
- Comply with all company safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least one year of relevant work experience.
Skills and Attributes
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to work well within a team.
- Good listening skills and attention to detail.
- A willing attitude to learn new tasks.
- A strong commitment to safety.
General Conditions
- Must pass all screenings, including criminal record checks.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime.
- Must be physically, mentally, and medically fit for site work.
