Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Minimum of AET Level 4 (Grade 9) up to Grade 12 (Matric).
• Experience: At least three years of professional driving experience.
• Licensing: A valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s license and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to read and write effectively.
• Attributes: Ability to work well under pressure, work independently, and contribute positively to a team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Collecting, delivering, and distributing official mail and documents.
• Transporting furniture and moving old assets from various institutions to the redundant asset store.
• Transporting medication and other essential supplies as requested.
• Providing transportation for staff and students to meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Taking vehicles to authorized service providers for maintenance and repairs.
• Assisting the transport department with other logistics tasks as needed.
