MIS Senior Manager: ICT

Role Purpose
As the MIS Senior Manager for ICT, you will lead the strategic planning of our enterprise information architecture. You will be responsible for designing data models that balance accessibility with security and performance. Your goal is to provide leadership and direction for all management information systems to meet the company’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Information Strategy: Develop long-term strategies for ICT MIS and align information requirements with company goals.
- Architecture Design: Create and maintain enterprise-wide data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Department Management: Lead the ICT MIS department, overseeing both structured and unstructured information assets.
- Operational Support: Ensure all information systems, including SAP-ERP, meet operational requirements and support business objectives.
- Innovation and Research: Track emerging technologies to improve information usefulness and evaluate their impact on business goals.
- Governance and Training: Implement MIS governance policies and focus on the professional development and training of MIS staff.
Job Requirements
- Education: A Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in Management Information Systems (MIS) within a large enterprise.
- Leadership: At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a managerial or specialist role.
