Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Grade 12 certificate and an NQF level 6 qualification in Nursing.
  • Professional Registration: Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in Women’s Health or Sexual and Reproductive Health. You should have experience managing women’s health programs or working with reproductive health cancers at a sub-district, district, or provincial level.
  • Skills and Knowledge: A deep understanding of Women’s Health policies and legislation. You should be familiar with policy analysis, financial management, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Policy Coordination: Oversee the implementation of national policies and guidelines regarding Cervical and Breast Cancer at provincial and district levels.
  • Strategic Implementation: Help facilitate the Strategic Framework for Cervical Cancer Elimination in South Africa.
  • Capacity Building: Organize training and development programs focused on reproductive cancers within various provinces.
  • Community Outreach: Create awareness within communities regarding reproductive health rights and cancer prevention.
  • Support: Provide general support for all sexual and reproductive health and rights initiatives.
