Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Social Relief team. In this role, you will provide essential social work services to support and protect vulnerable individuals, families, and communities. You will be responsible for implementing various intervention programs, including casework, group work, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional social work services focused on the care and protection of vulnerable groups.
- Address social instability and provide support through relevant social programs.
- Supervise and support Social Auxiliary Workers.
- Manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Keep up to date with new developments in social work and welfare fields to ensure professional growth.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Social Systems: Understanding of human behavior and social systems to promote community well-being.
- Policy & Ethics: Knowledge of relevant legislation, professional ethics, and social work interventions.
- Empowerment: Ability to challenge poverty, inequality, and discrimination while empowering others.
- Management: Skills in information management, planning, and organizing tasks effectively.
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in report writing and computer literacy.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective presentation and facilitation skills.
- Mentorship and coaching skills for junior staff.
