About the Position

Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), such as a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing.
- Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional clinical nursing care in line with established standards and the scope of practice.
- Promote and maintain high-quality nursing care within the facility.
- Support the implementation of the National Core Standards and the Ideal Hospital Realization Framework.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and write reports when necessary.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Treat all patients with respect and dignity, following the Batho-Pele principles (putting people first).
- Plan and organize your own work and supervise support staff to ensure efficient care.
- Manage allocated resources and equipment effectively.
