Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- A Diploma or Degree in General Nursing accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care according to the professional scope of practice and healthcare standards.
- Promote high-quality patient care and help implement the National Core Standards and Ideal Hospital framework.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other medical professionals.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with people from all cultural and religious backgrounds.
- Plan and organize daily tasks for yourself and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Advocate for patient needs and uphold the “Batho-Pele” (People First) principles.
- Manage the resources and equipment allocated to your unit efficiently.
