Purpose of the Position
The successful candidate will provide age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Key Responsibilities
- Practice within the professional scope of an Enrolled Nursing Assistant.
- Follow all hospital policies, regulations, and SANC legislation.
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care within the Dayward.
- Address and manage patient complaints effectively.
- Maintain a professional environment for patients and staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be currently registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with doctors, patients, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
