Job Overview

We are looking for experienced individuals to join our team as Senior Grants Administrators. In this role, you will oversee the administration of social grants, ensuring that applications are processed accurately and efficiently while managing a team of staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Senior Certificate plus a relevant undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6 or 7).
  • At least 3 years of experience specifically in Grants Administration.
  • Strong computer skills (computer literacy is essential).
  • A valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Review grant applications and supporting documents to ensure they are complete and accurate.
  • Verification: Verify applications, conduct means tests, and check all legal declarations.
  • Decision Making: Formally approve or reject grant applications based on established criteria.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the grant value chain, including beneficiary maintenance, medical assessment bookings, and customer care services.
  • Supervision: Manage staff performance, allocate resources, and provide guidance on grant policies and processes.
  • Service Delivery: Coordinate off-site services and ensure high standards of service for all applicants.
