Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of earthmoving equipment, ensuring all machinery operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly diagnose and repair machine systems.
• Perform regular services and maintenance on earthmoving equipment at company or customer sites.
• Create accurate technical reports, including machine inspection and analysis reports.
• Maintain high safety standards and follow all work procedures.
• Manage personal administration, such as labor bookings, service reports, and part returns.
• Work effectively within a team and be available for overtime or standby duty when needed.
• Maintain a professional image while representing the company.

Qualifications and Experience

• A qualified trade certificate (Diesel Mechanic or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) at NQF Level 3.
• Specific technical knowledge and skills related to earthmoving machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic computer literacy (experience with SIS, STW, and ET is preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to write basic technical reports.
• A valid Code 10 driver’s license.
• An understanding of supplier warranty systems and policies.
