Role Overview

Are you passionate about beauty and skincare? We are looking for a confident Beauty Assistant for our Lansdowne store. In this role, you will help customers look and feel their best by providing expert advice and excellent service. You will report directly to the Store Manager and be responsible for the entire beauty department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers and provide professional advice on beauty and skincare products.
  • Drive sales by suggesting the best products to meet customer needs and meeting monthly targets.
  • Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, product ranges, and promotions.
  • Manage stock efficiently, including organizing merchandise and ensuring the department is clean and tidy.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and in-store displays.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, offering friendly and professional service to build customer loyalty.
  • Encourage customers to join the Clicks ClubCard loyalty program.
  • Promote Clicks’ private label and exclusive beauty brands.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Matric (Essential).
  • A qualification in beauty or skincare (Advantageous).
  • Experience in retail, sales, or the beauty industry (Advantageous).

Skills and Knowledge:

  • A good understanding of selling and customer service principles.
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products.
  • Experience with stock management and store promotions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to be engaging, confident, and target-driven.
