Job Summary

Role Purpose
The primary goal of this position is to provide excellent customer service through efficient point-of-sale (POS) operations and effective merchandising. You will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Point of Sale & Cash Handling:
- Process customer transactions accurately and quickly at the till.
- Handle cash securely and follow all payment procedures.
- Promote the Clicks Clubcard program and help customers sign up for rewards.
Customer Service:
- Act as a brand ambassador by providing friendly and professional assistance.
- Inform customers about current promotions and special deals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services to answer customer questions.
Store Operations:
- Execute merchandising tasks and ensure shelves are well-stocked.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organization.
- Follow all stock management and safety procedures.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate (Essential).
- Preference for candidates with at least 50% in Mathematics and English.
Experience & Skills:
- Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure.
- A customer-focused attitude with a friendly personality.
