The QA Accreditation Specialist is responsible for accrediting and monitoring skills development providers. Your goal is to ensure training standards are met and to support both training providers and employers in the public service sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review accreditation applications according to official policies.
  • Monitor training providers to ensure they comply with the Skills Development Act.
  • Provide guidance and support to organizations throughout the registration and accreditation process.
  • Conduct site visits and evaluate learning programs to ensure quality compliance.
  • Compile detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
  • Oversee the work of external evaluators.
  • Represent PSETA in relevant forums and committees.
  • Maintain and update accreditation, registration, and certification systems.
  • Manage departmental projects and contribute to operational planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or B Tech in Human Resources, Education, Social Sciences, or Business Administration (NQF Level 7).
  • Training: Must be a qualified Assessor and Moderator.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Education, Quality Assurance, or Training within a SETA environment.
  • Leadership: 1–2 years of experience at a supervisory level.
