The Role
As an Assistant Leader, you will support the Store Leader in daily operations, helping to drive sales and maintain high standards. We are looking for someone who is passionate about retail and can inspire a team to deliver excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Help manage all aspects of the store to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Drive store sales and maximize profitability.
- Protect company assets by monitoring stock and reducing inventory loss.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure every shopper has a great experience.
- Assist with hiring, training, and coaching team members.
- Maintain attractive visual merchandising to boost sales.
- Ensure all company policies, health, and safety procedures are followed.
- Build a positive team culture and an inspiring work environment.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of management experience in a retail setting.
- A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Computer literacy (specifically Microsoft Office).
- A clear criminal record.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
Personal Skills
- Honesty and integrity when handling cash and finances.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for retail.
- The ability to take ownership and solve problems.
- A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change.
