Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Administration Officer to focus on mining appeals. The successful candidate will handle legal administrative tasks, policy development, and strategic coordination within the department.
Requirements
- Education: An LLB Degree or an equivalent legal qualification recognized by SAQA.
- Experience: At least eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in a relevant legal field.
- Knowledge: A deep understanding of South African law, Public Service procedures, and departmental regulations.
- Strategic Skills: Experience in policy development, risk management, and audit procedures.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management facilitation, research methodologies, and professional presentation.
- Communication: Strong professional writing skills, policy formulation expertise, and negotiation abilities.
- Personal Attributes: The ability to analyze complex information, meet strict deadlines, and resolve conflicts professionally.
- License: A valid driver’s license is required.
