Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to support our warehouse and administrative operations at our Cornubia Factory. The successful candidate will manage receiving activities, inventory records, and waste management processes while ensuring efficient communication across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receiving of local and imported materials.
- Verify deliveries against documentation and process Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) promptly.
- Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Liaise with transport companies regarding delivery schedules and arrival times.
- Communicate with the Procurement department regarding stock levels and discrepancies.
- Organize stock storage according to safety regulations and stock codes.
- Generate, verify, and file all receiving, dispatch, and compliance documents.
- Manage waste collection processes, including invoicing and service follow-ups.
- Create sales invoices, purchase orders, and gate passes as needed.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Production departments to align operations.
- Ensure all work follows company policies and Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or receiving environment.
- Experience using ERP systems (Syspro experience is highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and receiving documentation.
- Basic understanding of transport regulations and OHS standards.
- Previous experience leading a small team is an advantage.
- A valid forklift license is an added advantage.
