About the Limpopo Office of the Premier
The mission of the Limpopo Office of the Premier is to provide innovative and strategic leadership to ensure service excellence throughout the province. We oversee provincial and national legislation to improve the lives of our citizens.
Role Purpose
The Assistant Director will focus on improving how services are delivered to the public. This role involves coordinating complaint resolutions, monitoring provincial programs, and supporting government evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and resolve service delivery complaints from the public.
- Monitor the implementation of the Khaedu deployment program within the province.
- Support the planning and execution of departmental and provincial evaluations.
- Monitor and ensure that commitments made during EXCO Outreach Programs are fulfilled.
- Assist in conducting provincial customer satisfaction surveys.
Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate plus a recognized NQF Level 6 qualification (Diploma or Degree) in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in Service Delivery Intervention, Monitoring and Evaluation, or Service Improvement at a supervisory level.
- A valid driver’s license (except for applicants with disabilities).
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Professional Skills: Strong leadership, report writing, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of the South African Constitution (Chapter 10), Batho Pele Principles, and government Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks.
- Management: Proficiency in time management, diversity management, and change management.
