Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Organizing and managing official events.
- Providing professional protocol services for the office.
- Managing corporate gifts and the official flag bank.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- A recognized undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) in International Relations, Public Relations, Events Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of experience in Communications, Protocol, Marketing, or Event Management.
- A valid driver’s license (this requirement may be waived for individuals with disabilities).
Required Skills and Competencies
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills.
- Professionalism, honesty, and loyalty.
- Sound knowledge of the legislative framework governing the South African Public Service (including the Public Service Act and Labour Relations Act).
