Key Responsibilities
As a Shop Assistant, your daily duties will include:
- Customer Service: Assisting customers on the sales floor, answering questions about product ranges, pricing, and warranties, and demonstrating how products work.
- Sales Performance: Actively selling goods, suggesting additional items to customers, and working toward store sales targets.
- Merchandising: Ensuring all items are correctly priced and displayed according to company standards. This includes setting up promotions and keeping the store clean and organized.
- Stock Management: Monitoring stock levels, reporting on fast or slow-moving items, and participating in regular stock counts.
- Loss Prevention: Protecting company assets by staying alert and following security procedures to minimize stock loss.
- General Operations: Complying with all company policies, attending mandatory training, and assisting with any other tasks required by management.
