Job Opportunity: Wellness Assistant at Clicks Queensburgh
Clicks Group is a leading retail healthcare company listed on the JSE. With over 840 stores across Southern Africa—including well-known brands like Clicks, GNC, The Body Shop, and Claire’s—we are a market leader in the healthcare sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated Wellness Assistant to join our team in Queensburgh, KwaZulu-Natal.
Role Purpose
The primary goal of this role is to provide excellent service by offering professional advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements. You will help customers find the right products, helping to grow sales and build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and proactive service by identifying customer needs regarding health and supplements.
- Offer expert advice on healthcare and nutritional products.
- Meet sales targets by promoting various brands and suggesting related products to customers.
- Ensure products are always available by following stock management and rotation rules.
- Help prevent stock loss by following company risk management policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment for an enjoyable shopping experience.
- Arrange products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
- Follow all store operating procedures and share product knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
Experience and Education:
- Matric certificate (minimum 50% in English and 50% in Mathematics or Math Literacy).
- At least 1 year of related experience in a retail environment.
- Previous experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin products.
- A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition is a plus.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplement products.
- Understanding of retail operations like stock management and merchandising.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Natural ability to sell and assist customers.
- Basic computer literacy.
