Assistant Store Manager: Power Fashion (Letlhabile Mall)

As a fast-growing value retailer, we are dedicated to providing quality products and excellent service to our customers. We are currently looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Power Fashion team at Letlhabile Mall in the North West province.

Role Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in daily operations. Your primary goal is to ensure the store runs smoothly, maintain high standards of merchandising, and lead the team to reach sales targets. You will step in to lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations: Manage daily banking, oversee the cash office, and ensure all front-end controls are followed.
• Leadership: Assist in managing and motivating staff to maintain high productivity.
• Standards: Maintain company standards for housekeeping, merchandising, and store security.
• Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and implement strategies to minimize stock loss (shrinkage).
• Customer Service: Drive excellent customer service and introduce sales initiatives to meet store targets.
• Compliance: Ensure the store follows all company procedures and policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Matric / Grade 12 (NQF Level 4). A background in Mathematics is an advantage.
• Experience: Previous experience in managing people or a department is required. Experience in clothing retail is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, administration, and organizational skills.
• Personal Attributes: You should be a proactive decision-maker with high integrity and honesty. Being self-motivated and enthusiastic is essential for success in this role.
