Investment Admin and Reporting Consultant (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role

Sanlam is looking for an Investment Administration and Reporting Consultant to join the Glacier International team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and high-quality administration and reporting support. You will serve as a vital link between internal teams, fund managers, and external partners like custodians and offshore administrators.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Analysis

  • Manage third-party reporting, including fund manager reports, model portfolio drift reports, and regulatory analytics.
  • Provide technical investment support, primarily using Morningstar.
  • Assist with onboarding new funds, stockbrokers, and model portfolios.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly performance reports to clients and sales teams.
  • Evaluate and improve internal processes to increase efficiency.

Investment Administration

  • Maintain the investment offerings on the Glacier International platform, including mutual funds and ETFs.
  • Handle the setup and maintenance of funds, including operational due diligence and corporate actions.
  • Manage fund trading issues and ensure platform fund lists are accurate.
  • Create and distribute monthly Model Portfolio Fact Sheets and fee statements.
  • Process registrations and updates for model portfolios, including rebalance instructions.
  • Contribute to automation projects, system enhancements, and new product testing.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external service providers and fund managers.
  • Support internal sales and client service teams with technical queries and research.

Requirements

  • Education: A tertiary qualification in an investment-related field.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience: Previous experience in investment administration, asset management, or LISP operations is highly beneficial.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
