Job Opportunity: Professional Bus Driver (Passenger Services)
Unitrans is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, specializing in transportation, warehousing, and logistics. We are currently looking for experienced and professional Bus Drivers to join our passenger services team in Gauteng. This is a full-time position focused on providing safe, reliable transport for our passengers.
Role Overview
As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers along scheduled routes. Your primary goal is to ensure passenger safety, maintain high standards of vehicle care, and provide excellent customer service while following all traffic laws and company policies.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar bus driving role.
- Valid Driver’s License (Categories: CE–G, CE–PG, or C–G).
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) and Public Services Driving License (PG).
- Expertise in defensive and preventive driving techniques.
- Clean driving record and a thorough understanding of traffic laws.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic regulations to ensure a safe journey.
- Maintain a mastery of defensive driving to protect passengers and other road users.
- Report any near misses, incidents, or property damage immediately to management.
- Always use seat belts and ensure all passengers are following safety protocols.
Vehicle Operations:
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections to check for any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
- Ensure the bus is refueled and kept clean at all times.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, recording all activities and driving hours.
- Follow authorized routes and stop only at designated locations.
Passenger Service:
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude toward all customers.
- Ensure passengers arrive at their destinations safely and on time.
- Register passengers for each trip accurately.
