Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A recognized NQF level 6 qualification in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Training and Development, Public Management, or Industrial and Organisational Psychology.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in Human Resource Development or Training and Development.
  • Two (2) of those years must be at a supervisory level.

Required Knowledge

Candidates should be familiar with the following areas:

  • The Skills Development Act and Public Service HRD frameworks.
  • Management principles, public service rules, and the Batho Pele Principles.
  • The Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Department of Labour policies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project).

  • Managerial: Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and control departmental functions.
  • Communication: Strong presentation, report writing, and interviewing skills.
  • Leadership: Mentoring, coaching, team building, and diversity management.
