Shop Assistant / Cashier: Clicks Masingita Crossings
Clicks Group is a leading retail-led healthcare provider with over 840 stores across Southern Africa. We are home to well-known brands like Clicks, GNC, The Body Shop, and Claire’s. We are currently looking for a motivated Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our team in Limpopo.
Job Purpose
The main goal of this role is to provide excellent customer service, handle point-of-sale (POS) activities efficiently, and ensure the store is well-merchandised to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
- Scan merchandise correctly and assist customers with ClubCard rewards.
- Promote the Clicks ClubCard and sign up new members to meet store targets.
- Inform customers about current promotions and deals to help them save money.
- Deliver friendly and professional service as a brand ambassador.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and properly stocked according to visual standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and events to provide helpful information to shoppers.
Requirements
Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
- Achievement of 50% or higher in both Mathematics and English is preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment is an advantage.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Basic math and numeracy skills.
- Understanding of retail operations and merchandising.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills.
